Maqui Berry fruit
Maqui (Aristotelia chilensis ) is a native South America evergreen shrub. Particular attention has been paid to polyphenols and anthocyanins content in this berry for its potential beneficial effects on human health.
Production Process
Our plantation and laboratory are located in Chile. Our plant operates according to the latest scientific and technical standards. The method used to produce Anthocyanol® is patented by our company.
Anthocyanol
A standardized extract of Maqui Berry that maximizes the amount of Anthocyanins.
Maqui Berry extraxct “Standardized” means that manufacturers ensure every batch of their products is produced in a consistent way, with the same ingredients and same concentration of ingredients. In our case we ensure the level of antioxidants.
Versions of Anthocyanol
Antocyanol according to the use you want to give it, we have the version you need
Anthocyanol Cosmetic
Anthocyanol Cosmetic is a version of Anthocyanol developed as an extract to be soluble in water at less than 50 °C in the final phase. It has no flavor and can partially neutralize color.
Anthocyanol Drug
Anthocyanol Drog is a version of Anthocyanol developed as an extract to be biosoluble and liposoluble below 50 °C in water or oil phases. It has no taste and can be encapsulated.
Anthocianol Supplement
Anthocyanol Supplement is a version of Anthocyanol developed as a powder extract or as a concentrated dye to be soluble in water at room temperature in the final phase. It may or may not be flavored.
ANTHOCYANOL – MELANGE
A blend of Anthocyanins from Maqui and other vegetables, vitamins, minerals and spices.
The need to incorporate “Health” value such as antioxidant effect, vitamins, minerals and spices, or the distinctive “Flavor” of Maqui to a variety of products, forced us to develop a real drug the Anthocyanol – Melange “the spice must be flow”.

Important findings about the Maqui
Fundamental research on the Maqui berry and applications of extracts to improve health and longevity.
Ultraviolet B (UVB) irradiation-induced DNA damage, oxidative stress, inflammatory processes, and skin pigmentation cause pigmented spots, wrinkles, inflammation, and accelerated skin aging and cancer. Maqui berry (Aristotelia chilensis) is a natural antioxidant, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory food. We investigated the photoprotective properties of the maqui berry extract in vitro and in vivo. The Maqui Berry extract clearly reversed the DNA damage induced by UVB irradiation.
We used a murine model of type II diabetes, which reproduces the major features of the human disease, a standardised Extract of anthocyanin-rich formulation from Maqui Berry. We observed that oral administration of extract of Maqui Berry improved fasting blood glucose levels and glucose tolerance in hyperglycaemic obese C57BL/6J mice fed a high fat diet. This is the first report describing the anti-diabetic properties and potential mode of action of Maqui Berry anthocyanins.
Fractions rich in anthocyanins, exhibited potent chemoprotective abilities on decreasing growth of HT-29 and Caco-2 colon cancer cells. The results indicated that the extracts suppressed the production of nitric oxide (NO). The structural features of the extracts correlate with a potent antioxidant activity by assays of DPPH, FRAP, TBARS and ORAC. The inhibition of cell growth and NO production by selected extracts was dose-dependent with significant effects seen at concentration as low as 25.0 and 10.0 ppm, respectively.
Oxidative stress which can be induced by cigarette smoke (CS) is associated with an altered osteoblast differentiation, and an inhibition of the mineralization process. Therefore, treatments focusing on reducing oxidative stress in osteoblasts could be a potential therapy supporting bone formation. Maqui berry extract (MBE) is the richest natural source of delphinidins with high antioxidant activity. we investigate the effects of MBE as an antioxidant. Thus, we conclude that MBE at physiological concentrations can effectively protect osteoblasts,
